Fortaj is promising to bring quality Truck / Trailer parts for customers , and always stand with the customers,

its always possible to have a manufacture fault in a Truck and Trailer part.

1.    Fortaj  is always ready to improve the quality of our Parts.

2.    Every parts has different Warranty time Period, and the warranty time will start from the date sold to customer.

3.    Warranty claimed  Item must me Inspected before issuing  any valid claim (if Returned item not found any damage or any Manufacture Defect, no claim will be Issued)

        and Customer will be responsible for Returned Item.

4.    Must need the proof of selling to the customer ( i.e Invoice Date ) with returned item.

5.    Reason of return

 

What is a return policy? 

Return policies are the rules a retailer creates to manage how customers return and exchange unwanted merchandise they purchased.

A return policy tells customers what items can be returned and for what reasons, as well as the timeframe over which returns are accepted.

A fair return policy builds trust between a business and its customers.

 

Conditions for Returns

 

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

 

  1.    The Goods were purchased within the last 60 days.

  2.     If the Goods were purchased over 60 days and less than 90 days, 25% restocking fee will be charged.

  3.     The Goods are in the original packaging.

  4.      The Goods will have to be in original shape, no damage

 

The following Goods cannot be returned:

 

  • There is no return on the goods purchased over 90 days 

 

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

 

Returning Goods

 

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

 

Special Orders

 

Fortaj gives a 6 month time to our Dealers to return any part that is not sold without any damage and is in original packing.

Any open Packing or Damaged Packing part will not be returned back, 

Any Electrical or Electronic Part will not be returned once opened.

And there will be no Return on any Special Order Part(s).

 

Shock Absorber Misting / Leaking

 

Misting

Misting is a small amount of shock fluid, that clings to the shaft and is pulled past the oil seal on the extension stroke. On compression some of the fluid is wiped off by the oil seal and left on the outside of the shock absorber.

Misting symptoms:

  • The shock absorber shows little oil and has a matt appearance.
  • No oil is dripping of the outer tube.
  • The oil film feel dry.
  • Neighboring parts are free of oil.

 

Leaking

 Wet Lines of Oil are visible

An indication of a failed shock absorber is a thick wet layer of contaminant on the body of the shock or oil streaming off the body of the shock absorber over the lower mount.

Clean the shock and run vehicle for 48hrs,if oil is dripping down to the lower mount, SHOCK IS BAD, REPLACE I

Leaking symptoms:

  • The main surface of the outer tube is covered in oil and dirt
  • The touch of oil film feels wet.
  • A leaking shock absorber shows signs of fluid leaking in streams from the upper seal. These streams can easily be seen when the shock is fully extended, underneath the dust cover of the shock.

 

Warranty Claim

 

However Fortaj always stands with our customers, but to claim the warranty, the customer needs to bring the original 

invoice (not Copy), the Damaged part, and after confirming any manufacturing problem by an expert, credit will be issued to the customer.
